Citizens Bank was established at Mukwonago in 1892. The Muskego branch opened in 1995 and is located inside the Pick ‘n Save store on Janesville Road. The branch will continue serving customers at that location until early February 2025 when they move to the beautiful new building just a few blocks down the road.
Please give a brief history of your business.
Our bank was originally known as Citizens Bank of Mukwonago. We are now called Citizens Bank and have expanded to serve nine communities with twelve offices. Although we are decades old, we aren’t set in old ways. In fact, the opposite is true. We are investing in improvement projects to enhance our customers' experiences, update our branches, and upgrade our technology. We constantly review how we do business and search for better ways to do business. That is why we are reinvesting in the Muskego community with a standalone office. We are excited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our Muskego branch in a new space that allows for collaboration with our neighbors.
In what way does your business impact our community?
Citizens Bank strives to build meaningful relationships with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations who call this area home. Because we are locally based and independent, our focus has always been on making decisions that benefit people in the community--not following directives from an out-of-state headquarters. Furthermore, we seek to support local organizations who are working to better residents’ lives. We do this through financial contributions and encouraging volunteerism among our employees.

What do you love about our community and participating in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce?
Muskego is a vibrant and growing community that still maintains a hometown flavor, and that closely aligns with who we are as a business. There is a sense of belonging that we feel in the community, and we hope the community feels the same about us.
The Muskego Chamber of Commerce is an exceptional partner to the businesses in the community, so participation in Chamber events and activities provides the opportunity to make and strengthen relationships with other members.
The Wellness Company - Melaleuca has been in business since 1985. Beth Schmitt is your local rep, serves as a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and volunteers on the Women’s Business Connections Steering Committee.
I (Beth Schmitt) began shopping at Melaleuca in 2020. I wished to purchase Made in America items as much as possible. A friend introduced me to the store and our family loved it! Not only is everything USA made, but it is also nontoxic. Plus, the company's servant hearted mission aligned with our family values. I began sharing the products with friends and family. That went well, so I began sharing the store with everyone that had a need. This included those searching for wellness on a budget; products that work and are backed by science and inspired by nature; weight management help; the opportunity to leave big business and make extra cash; the possibility of a noble business venture; or, anyone simply wanting to serve others. The variety of wellness solutions is endless!
Please give a brief history of your business.
I have been in the health & wellness arena as Your Wellness Gal for almost 15 years. This includes leading detox groups, working one on one toward health, offering resources to know your farmer, and pretty much all things in holistic wellness. Melaleuca has been a great addition!
In what way does your business impact our community?
Serving up wellness!! Melaleuca is a great way to help people reach their goals no matter where they start. I love showing families the next steps in getting healthy, generating more energy that leads to feeling great, and creating additional income!
I also serve on the Muskego Chamber’s Board of Directors, which has been a great experience.

I have the honor of helping many people take back their health. This is truly rewarding. I’ve also hit several personal goals in my business, which is a fun part of this business.
The Melaleuca company has existed for 40 years. Those who choose to build through them are truly blessed. The company has paid over 6.7 BILLION dollars to everyday families for simply referring their the store. The servant heart of this company makes them UNIQUE. 😉
What do you love about our community and participating in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce?
I have been a member of this community for 25 years and have so enjoyed being a part of it! We raised 3 kids here, have been part of the school system, MYF program, high school sports, volunteered in many areas, and worked for several small businesses!
I think being a member of the Muskego Chamber is great! I helped found the Chamber’s Women’s Business Connection (WBC) in 2013 and led the group for 5 years. After taking a few years off to participate in my kids’ activities, I am now back for more! I am excited to meet new people, hang out with the many I know, and be a part of this wonderful organization!!
Saving Sadie, Inc. was founded in 2012 and is a 501©3 charity that helps disabled dogs everywhere. We are a hands-on organization and we are a resource for others world-wide.
Please give a brief history of your organization.
Our founder is Sadie, who was a puppy mill mother found in Kentucky. When she was no longer useful, Sadie was shot between the eyes and in the back, leaving her paralyzed. Sadie was with us for 15 years. We are told that the feet are used for good luck charms.

Through our resources, we were able to obtain a K9 for the Muskego Police Department, among other departments. Being a vendor at virtually all the events that Muskego offers, we are able to raise awareness of our organization in order to help others. We bring people into the community by being honored with Fleet/Farm in Muskego naming Saving Sadie, Inc. as their first annual charity recipient in 2024 which was a hugely successful event which brought in 150 show cars, food trucks and entertainment.

I love how we fill the Muskego High School bleachers every Friday home game during football season. I love how we “have each other’s back” with support and great community pride. I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve seen someone wearing Warrior gear when I am on an airplane or in a restaurant thousands of miles from home.
My participation in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce has been fantastic. I love getting to know other Chamber members and business owners in our community while hearing the stories of how they got where they are today.
Pawsitively Canine Rehabilitation, LLC is owned by Amy J Helminski, PT MS OCS CCRT.
Please give a brief history of your business.
I founded Pawsitively Canine Rehabilitation in 2019 because:
- There is a need for canine/dogs healing and rehabilitation services.
- To facilitate owner education on healthy care and rehabilitation for aging or injured dogs.
I have a passion for animals, specifically dogs. I created this mobile business to provide health and wellness care along with injury and postsurgical management for dogs of all sizes—working and recreational classes. Offering this service in the safety and comfort of the dog’s home is a plus that ensures the outcome and success of treatment.
In what way does your business impact our community?
I am a licensed physical therapist with thirty-six years of professional physical therapy experience. As a CCRT (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist), I collaborate with the dog’s veterinarian to provide personalized, individual care for the dog’s injury or needs during the initial evaluation and subsequent sessions. This allows me to provide high level anatomy knowledge and injury management while addressing neuromuscular skeletal injuries of our four-legged, canine family members.
Tell us unique things about your business, such as awards you've received, special products you offer, or cool employee stories.
I am the only mobile, canine rehabilitation unit providing in home or on work site care for dogs within a five-county area of southeastern Wisconsin. I am a canine rehabilitation specialist with secondary wellness and injury management training. I offer ultrasound, TENS, electrical stimulation, manual tissue and joint work, exercise interventions, and injury management for both sporting and working dogs. In addition, I help educate owners about senior dog care in joint pain management during follow-up and in-home care.
What do you love about our community and participating in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce?
The Muskego community is rewarding, and its people are supportive of small, locally grown/owned businesses. My twenty plus years as a physical therapist for humans in various local entities taught me that positive word-of-mouth recommendations is the mainstay of a small business and helps it succeed in difficult times or environments. My interaction through the Muskego Chamber with other businesses that service animals (police, veterinarians, and animal product retailers) provides that depth of referral development.

Please give a brief history of your business.

In 2017, I finally decided to open my own office, Brew City Accounting and Tax. I wanted to help more than one company and focus on serving a variety of functions for individuals and businesses.
In what way does your business impact our community?
Taxes are always changing, and reading tax laws often feels like reading Latin. We help individuals understand the personal tax code and build a plan to save taxes in the future. We are a local, family-owned, non-franchise business. We offer a one-on-one, hands-on approach and our clients are more than just a number. Initial meetings are free to determine that we are a good fit and can meet the client’s needs. Through technology, experiences, and continued education, we want to become the trusted partner in personal and professional relationships. This creates a better overall community.
What do you love about our community and participating in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce?
My wife is a Muskego graduate and we moved back to her hometown in 2017. I (Stephen) came from a small Iowa town of 200 people. Muskego has that same hometown feeling, yet offers the opportunities found in a large city.
The Chamber is involved with their business members and the community. As a member of the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce, I find it a great opportunity to network with current and future businesses while being a local brand in the community.

Being in the direct sales world rather than an office environment brings challenges to meeting new clients. However, what I have found through the chamber is that everyone is busy and most appreciate having healthy delicious dinners available. I love sharing Epicure’s benefits for the family table. Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee and 2 Boss Performance is located at W191 S7757 Racine Avenue in Muskego, just two miles south of I-43.
Please give a brief history of your business.
Indian Motorcycle was established in 2015 when Rob Schopf purchased the building from his business partner, Dave Davis. They also brought in a labor company called 2 Boss Performance, which was established in 2013.
Indian Motorcycle just celebrated eight years of business and 2 Boss Performance celebrated ten years.
In what way does your business impact our community?
While in high school, Rob began working on motorcycles at a Harley-Davidson dealership. Because that became his career path, Rob wanted to teach high school kids about bikes. His dealership partners with Muskego High Schools Auto Class through a program called BUILD. Each year a new team of high schoolers meet at Indian Motorcycle where they learn how to build a race bike from scratch. These student teams won the BUILD moto competition in the past two out of five years.
Indian Motorcycle also supports Muskego High School’s Connect Academy to encourage students that working in the trades offers a great future.
For the past five years, the dealership has supported the annual Jammin’ on Janesville event organized by the Muskego Chamber of Commerce.
Tell us unique things about your business, such as awards you've received, special products you offer, or cool employee stories.
We strive to offer the highest level of customer satisfaction. Every employee is passionate about motorcycles.
We are one of the few local motorcycle shops to offer Dyno Tuning and we have the best Dyno Tuner in the Midwest! We also built an Indian Scout and were selected by the largest parts supplies to be on their 2023 catalog cover. Rob has built several bikes—one sits in an Iowa museum.
All technicians for both businesses are GOLD certified with Polaris and this training goes beyond our service department. Our sales team is very knowledgeable of our products and our parts department offers a wide variety of aftermarket parts for motorcycles, UTVs, and ATVs.
In 2021, we received the Business of the Year award through the Muskego Chamber of Commerce.
What do you love about our community and participating in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce?
I (Rob) love the City of Muskego because it is a lake community filled with families and businesses of like-minded people. I love how we come together to support our local school programs, events, and small businesses. We like participating in the annual Jammin’ on Janesville–an event that has grown to 12,000 attendees.
Many of our employees are life-long Muskego residents. Dave Davis is one of those Muskego residents and Rob Schopf lived in Muskego for ten years.
Through the Muskego Chamber of Commerce, I met Joseph Kreuser from CAM, Tech, Inc. This allowed our business to rent his space for winter motorcycle storage. We also use his machining services. The Chamber is a great way to network and meet new people plus we learn about many Muskego businesses during our networking events.
I did not join the Chamber to increase my bottom line. I joined the Chamber to increase my visibility to other business owners and like-minded people. As a Past President of the Chamber’s Board, I was an active participant in its strategic planning and am helping implement its future direction. I am very proud of all the Board members, committee volunteers, and our Ambassadors.

What do you love about our community and participating in the Muskego Chamber of Commerce?
Pride of community. I love how we come together to support our local school athletic programs and small businesses. Jammin’ on Janesville…12,000 attendees…enough said.
Most people hope their sales increase when joining a chamber. I get it and that is always welcome. However, in some industries it isn’t that easy. We have a different philosophy. By being a member of the Muskego Chamber of Commerce and participating on the Board of Directors or in its committees, we find our biggest advantage is individual connections. We learn what others do and apply it to our business. This might be cost savings measures, employment practices, or word of mouth referrals—all things we would miss if not involved with other chamber business members.

Fox River Fibers is owned by Heather Hodach and located at the edge of Muskego and Big Bend (S86 W22400 Edgewood Ave, Big Bend). They carry yarns from basic to unique as well as gifts by small and local artisans.
Please give a brief history of your business.
We purchased the warehouse at the corner of Edgewood and Janesville for our online fishing tackle business, Reaction Tackle. The existing showroom was not needed for that company, so I decided to open a yarn shop.
My husband, Chad, grew up in Muskego and is a Muskego High School graduate. We have lived in the Tichigan/Waterford area for twenty-one years.
In what way does your business impact our community?
Fox River Fibers filled the LYS (Local Yarn Shop) void for this area. Previously crafters had to travel twenty or more minutes to another LYS to purchase high quality yarns and notions or attend classes. We also offer weekly open craft times to foster a creative community where we knit, crochet, spin, and embroider.
Tell us unique things about your business, such as awards you've received, special products you offer, or cool employee stories.
We carry products from local dyers and collaborate with local craft businesses to provide a small selection of gifts. These are available year-round in our showroom. On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we host a Fall Art & Craft Fair that is free admission and open to the public.
What do you love about Muskego?
Location! As a city-girl at heart, living in Tichigan and working in Muskego allows me to be close to large cities (and not go crazy in the country) while still enjoying the sense of community in a smaller town. We live near family and love getting to know regular customers who visit our store.
Being part of the Chamber of Commerce helped me learn about other businesses. Now I can suggest places to eat, grab a coffee, or shop when my customers ask, “What can we do or what should we visit in this area?” Once I directed a customer to another Chamber member who could service their golf cart—that’s not an expected conversation at a yarn shop! Being able to talk about our community helps me get to know my customers.

Mathnasium was founded in 1992 by education industry pioneers Peter Markovitz and David Ullendorff. They recognized that students need a solid understanding of mathematics to be successful in school and life. They worked with Larry Martinek to create a math-only learning center.
My name is Ryan, the owner of Mathnasium of Franklin. During the day, I am a Vice President at U.S. Bank Global Fund Services, where I lead a team of 15 client managers, senior analysts, and junior analysts responsible for providing investment management services to institutional advisers, overseeing 30 clients and 60 funds. I earned an MBA in Financial Strategy and a BS in Finance and minor in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Having excelled at math as a child and having a career that is finance and accounting intensive, I'm enthusiastic about helping every child in our community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. I'm committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community. In my free time, I love to read, travel, golf, and engage in fitness activities, including triathlons.

Tri-Town Heating & AC is a well-known, long-standing, family-owned business in Muskego. We service all major heating and air conditioning makes/models. We offer a wide range of innovative Lennox® products to keep HVAC systems running efficiently and reliably.
Please give a brief history of your business.
Chuck Hoormann started Tri-Town in 1957 and selected the name because it referenced the three communities they serviced: Muskego/Hales Corners, Franklin, and New Berlin.
As southwest Wisconsin grew, Tri-Town's service area and long line of trusted employees grew, also. In 1980, Bob (Chuck's son) and his wife, Sandy, took over the business. Now, Craig (Bob's son) oversees the majority of the business.
In what way does your business impact our community?
The Hoormann's great-grandfather settled in Muskego in the early 1900s and the family has been a part of the community in many areas. We are a proud sponsor of Muskego youth sports, community activities, and a partner with Lennox "Feel the Love" program.
Our history of experience can be seen in our technicians. They bring nearly 40 years of industry knowledge and skill to their work. And, just like family, we are there for you when you need us. We offer 24/7 emergency services.
Tell us unique things about your business, such as awards you've received, special products you offer, or cool employee stories.
We are proud to partner with Lennox International to bring "Feel the Love" to our community and we need your help for this! Each year we search for those in need of a heating or cooling system--those who could use some assistance to make their home comfortable. Lennox provides the equipment while we donate labor and other installation materials. There is no cost to the homeowner. We do not want them to worry about staying comfortable in their own home. To nominate a homeowner for this opportunity, contact Tri-Town Heating.

Please give a brief history of your business.
Linda and Brian Kaminski founded L'BRI two decades ago. They took on the challenge and opportunity to create a company with great products and the ability to change lives. Linda's success in direct sales helped them develop tools and support for their consultants while Brian's life-changing experience with aloe products created their desire to build a multi-million dollar business where thousands of people are experiencing younger, healthier skin.
L'BRI adheres to this simple mission:
- We enrich lives by providing aloe-based products that are safe, natural, effective, and affordable for the whole family.
- We create opportunities for individuals to achieve their fullest potential when they become independent consultants.

Tell us unique things about your business, such as awards you've received, special products you offer, or cool employee stories.
As an Executive Manager with L'BRI, I've had the privilege of being able to get a "behind the scenes" look at all that is L'BRI. I can honestly say that the more I get to know Co-founders Linda and Brian, the more I am impressed by their integrity, generosity and commitment to making the world a better place. I feel valued and appreciated in so many ways, whether through handwritten notes of gratitude, gifts or even monthly bonuses! Most exciting has been the trips that I have earned to such places as Maui, Jamaica and Punta Cana.
I joined L'BRI to get a discount on some wonderful aloe-based products, but I soon realized the positive energy, genuine friendships, and being part of something truly wonderful is what I value most!

Jim and David are business partners and local representatives of Schooley Mitchell. They recently joined the Muskego Chamber, but have lived and worked in the Muskego/New Berlin communities for quite some time. Both representatives are thrilled to work in business to business (B2B) consulting. We chatted with Jim to learn what they offer.
Please give a brief history of your business.
Schooley Mitchell was established in 1997 with the mission of helping businesses save money! Lower costs and expenses directly result in a more profitable business, allowing business owners/managers to serve their community successfully.
In what way does your business impact our community?
We provide consulting services to local businesses. By analyzing their expenses, we help identify billing inaccuracies or errors so they can reduce costs. This service is performed on a contingency basis. If the business agrees with our findings and recommendations, we help implement solutions and then offer regular review to ensure their systems are optimized.
Our revenue is based on a portion of the savings we achieve for that business, meaning there is no risk and only an opportunity for the business to save money from our services. Schooley Mitchell is an independent consulting firm and our services do not include outside vendors.
Tell us unique things about your business, such as awards you've received, special products you offer, or cool employee stories.
Our goal is to help businesses save money and our numbers prove it. Nationally, we have produced over $520 million in documented savings for more than 26,000 clients.
