Congratulations to our 2024 Business of the Year:Â DJ's Lawn Sprinklers.
DJ’s Lawn Sprinklers has served southeastern Wisconsin for thirty-two years with installation and maintenance of high-quality irrigation systems. In 2019, DJ’s Lawn Sprinklers purchased and updated business property in Muskego. Their business owners immediately engaged in our community and have consistently supported the advancement of growth in the business community and community-at-large.
As an on-going sponsor for the Muskego Warriors Shooting Team, DJ’s Lawn Sprinklers supports the fundraising efforts, education, practice, and teamwork that propelled this Muskego youth club to win several awards during their 2024 season. These include:
- Third in 2024 Nationals Open Doubles Squad
- Fourth in 2024 Nationals High School
- 2024 State Champions in Varsity Trap and Doubles Trap
In addition, DJ’s Lawn Sprinklers supports workforce development efforts through Muskego High School Connect Academy by offering student internships that promote student participation and education among the trades.
DJ’s Lawn Sprinklers has invested effort, time, and resources in the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce by participating in its Board of Directors, Events Committee, and Economic Development projects. In 2024, owner Eric Huckstorf dedicated numerous volunteer hours to help organize and implement the Jammin’ in the Park community event. Eric is also passionate about community growth and actively creates opportunities for employment. Throughout 2024, he has been a lead voice of support for economic development in the Muskego area as he dedicated time to research and develop opportunities that support future businesses in this community.
CAM Tech, Inc. was awarded because owner Joseph Kreuser takes an extremely active role in promoting the Chamber’s mission to support local and small businesses. Joe’s business does not receive direct benefits from these activities, yet he has a drive to help create a strong community. He is always positive, shares thought provoking ideas, promotes small businesses, has great community awareness, and generously donates his time, efforts, and resources to many organizations, start up businesses, and young entrepreneurs. This year’s recipient is well-deserving of the award for the great impact made on the Chamber specifically and the business community at large.Â
The Lodge Muskego was awarded for being quite active in both the community and Chamber. Their representatives are concerned and hands-on toward creating a healthy community. They encourage other businesses to do the same and are always willing to help make the community a better place. They received multiple nominations citing their support of other businesses, the community, and the Chamber’s mission through volunteer work and any opportunity to help us be a better place. The Chamber staff appreciate the extra work their representative has done among our committees, especially the Jammin’ on Janesville committee.Â
Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee received this award for their continual support and engagement within our community, especially in supporting important causes that make our community better. Their team cares deeply about our community and supports other businesses, organizations, and entities with volunteer work, donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers. Through a phenomenal fundraiser last year, this business raised an astounding $40,000 for the Tess Corners Fire Department to purchase much needed, life-saving equipment. This is by no means a one-time scenario as they have raised funds for many other important causes.Â

Vintage Grounds Coffeehouse received this award based on their continual support of our community, businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, and numerous fundraising efforts that help with quality of life in the Muskego area. Since purchasing the business, owners Erin and Ryan have done a phenomenal job of creating a homelike atmosphere where community and friends can gather.
